 What is tax clearance document from the ward office?

Tax clearance is a verification document that your respective ward office provides you which shows that your sponsors do not have any tax payments due to the government of Nepal. Even though you possess the tax receipts, you need to obtain this clearance.

Documents required

1. Salary: Tax clearance from Inland Revenue, Citizenship and salary certificate

2. Land Revenue: Tax paid receipt and Citizenship, land lease agreement

3. Rent Revenue: rent tax paid receipt, citizenships, rent agreement

4. Agriculture income: agriculture income and agricultural tax exemption document

This is to certify that Mr Ram Bahadur (father of the applicant), Mrs Nara Maya (mother of the applicant) and Mr Bishnu Parsad (uncle of the applicant) who are permanent residents of Urlabari Municipality, Ward no-09, Koshi, Nepal have paid all the taxes of the fiscal year 2024/2025 A.D (2080/2081 B.S.).
