How to pay LUT student union fees?

 If you have been offered admission at LUT University, then along with your tuition fees, you are required to pay student union fees. This fee must be paid before the deadline otherwise you will need to pay a fine amount upon reaching Finland. This amount is usually 74 euros. If you are unable to to pay this fee within the deadline, you will need to pay an extra 35 euros after reaching Finland.

Things required to pay the LUT student union fee

1. Bank Account

2. E-com card/ international visa card

3. Money (of course)

How to pay the LUT student union fees.

Step 1: Grab your E-com card and make sure it has 74 euros or equivalent amount of USD in it. 

Step 2: Go to this link: https://ltky.fi/en/product/student-union-fee/

(Here you can pay student union fees for a whole year as well as a semester. For a sememster, you need to pay 42 euros while for a whole year, the amount is 74 euros. As you can see, paying for the whole year is  beneficial for you.)

Step 3: Choose the option whether you want to pay for the whole year or only for a semester. 

Step 4: Type your name in the name bracket. ( I don't think I should tell you this, but sure)

Note: When you make this payment, the university will not be automatically notified. This means that you have to send the receipt to the university's email stating that you have paid the student union fees. 

Step 5: Tick OK. Then, click " Add to Basket". 

Step 6: Click on the View basket on the side of "Add to Basket". 

Now you will be directed to another page which looks like this.

Step 7: Click on proceed to check out. 

Again, you will be directed towards another page where you have to enter your billing details. 

Step 8: Now, you're required to put all the information on the billing details. You should put the phrase" LUT student union fees for " applicant's name" on the additional information. 

Step 9: Now tick on the "I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions. Now, click proceed to pay.

 

After that, you will be directed towards a page where you need to select your payment methods.

Step 10: Click on Visa or whatever payment method you have. 

After that you will be directed towards another page which looks like this.

 

Step 11: Add the details of your card and click on pay. 

There you have it. You paid the LUT student union fees. 

What after paying student union fees?

You will receive a message on your email through this website. You need to take a screenshot of this website and send it to the University's email. Or you can forward that email to the University.
