1. Why Finland?

Finland is considered to have one of the best education systems in the world. Plus, it is the happiest country in the world. Moreover, all the universities are operated by the government and they are quite affordable as well. And, most universities teach courses that are future-oriented like sustainable business management, environmental engineering, renewable energy technology, etc which are the need of the future. These are few of many reasons as to why I chose Finland to pursue my education.


2. Why this university?

If someone wants to understand any topic thoroughly, then he/she needs to do research and study that subject. And since LUT University is a research-based university and is also known for its research publications. I believe this will greatly aid in my education journey enhancing and deepening my knowledge. 


3. What preparations have you made before moving to Finland?

Well apart from all the university related stuff, I have been learning Finnish language so that it becomes easier for me to connect with people. I have also taken insurance so that my medical expenses can be taken care of whilst I stay in Finland. Furthermore, I have also been researching student housing facilities in Finland. 


4. What do you know about Finnish Culture? 

First of all, I know that Finland is land of equal opportunties which stands for everyone. Secondly, the worklife culture of Finland is pretty balanced which doesn't stress the citizens. I also know about sauna culture where people come together and socialize to share their experience with each other. 


5. Who are your sponsors?

My sponsors are my mother, my father and my uncle.


6. What do your sponsors do?

My mother works as an Accountant in a trading company. My father works as a manager in a cooperative organization. Whilst, my uncle owns a business. 


7. Who gave you your living expenses?

My uncle provided me with my living expenses. 


8. What is the source of your living expenses?
Well, my uncle owns a business and the living expenses for my study in Finland is  a part of savings that my uncle had from his business income. 


9. Have you applied through any agency? 

No, I didn't apply from any agency. I did all the processing by myself. 


10. Where do you see yourself in the next five years? 

After five years I assume I would have completed my bachelors degree in Finland, and return to Nepal. I would most probably join an IT company in Nepal called "F1soft International" because it is one of the most prominent companies and mostly works in finance sector. And, I would also like to work on my startup idea which is "rent room app" with my colleagues.
